The Chinese government has confirmed last week that human – to – human transmission Coronavirus outbreak has happened. People were asked to avoid traveling to China and other counties as well.
But don’t panic! Here are some tips for travellers who might be making their way to destinations are;
Maintaining a good personal hygiene
Passenger must avoid touching people and follow proper coughing etiquette like sneezing and coughing into your arm instead on the environment or your hands. You need to wash the hands for at least twenty seconds. Try to use an alcohol – based hand sanitizer with at least sixty percent alcohol.
If you are traveling in flight, then make sure to clean the seatbacks and tray tables with a disinfecting wipe. Also try to maintain a safe distance from all who appears to be sick. If your seat is next to someone who might be sick, you can reseat
Wearing a mask
It is reported that people visiting the US should not be as concerned about the disease. But when you are traveling to other countries make sure to wear a mask.
USA Today has also suggested travellers to bring tissues to use to avoid touching the bathroom doors on flights and door handles. Also avoid close contact with anyone and avoid direct unprotected contact with animals. Never consume raw and uncooked meat.
If you have fever and breathing difficulty seek immediate medical care and also share your previous travel history with the doctor.
Can I travel?
You can travel within Europe, also you need to undergo airport screenings. The Foreign Office has advised travellers to travel to China.

Remember to stay hydrated and keep sipping water when you travel. Keep the airways moist and stay hydrated when you about to embark a journey.
