If you are tired after an all – night flight of waiting while you waiting for a long time finding your luggage spinning endlessly around the conveyor belt, then this article is just for you. New baggage charges are being levies while just a few carry – no’s are allowed. This is a reprise of past method that for quite a long time has disappeared.
Guidelines you need to follow to reduce the baggage cost and travel light are;
Leaving those extra bottles behind
Pack personal items and cosmetics that have more than one use. Try a sunscreen, moisturizer, shampoo and conditioner, a travel brush with a comb. Before you leave, also take the flat – pack samples offered at health clubs, sample counters and newspapers.
Buy things locally when your hotel does not provide. Steer away from imports and look out for local brands.
Try to pack that one item that does not have multiple functions
Plan on exercise wear that is stylish and can also be worn on the steers with cover up if needed and also double for sleeping.
Pick two colours that can be used together
Consider whether every item can be washed and left to dry. Black is especially good since it can be worn with everything, and if you spill anything on it accidently, it won’t leave a huge, conspicuous stain.
Accessories! Plan wisely
Make sure to take a small purse that can be dumped in your shoulder bag. This serves two special functions. In areas where pickpockets are common, this is simpler to wear under your jacker or just secure it under your arm. Also pack your accessories according to the destination you visit. Take a scarf if you are travelling to a colder destination.
Electronics, less is more!
Bring a tablet, smartphone and leave your laptop behind. Make sure to test how they work and check whether you need an adapter and a Micro SD card.
Many hotels do have adapters for plugs but no converters, so plan before if your appliances are not marked to certain things.
